CCTV Project Technician

We are seeking an experienced and licensed Commercial Security & Low Voltage Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced CCTV and networking systems. This role requires running low-voltage cabling, bending conduit, reading blueprints, and configuring network equipment in commercial environments. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers to deliver high-quality installations that comply with all local and federal codes. Run low-voltage Cat 6 cabling through commercial buildings. Install conduit and drill concrete walls as required for cable pathways. Complete all wiring, setup Main Distribution Frames (MDFs), and troubleshoot network switches. Conduct operational tests and troubleshoot new installations to guarantee functionality. Ensure all systems satisfy customer contracts and meet local, state, and federal codes. Assist Installation Team Leads and Project Managers with schedules and equipment delivery. Licensing and Qualifications Current, valid state Physical Security license and/or Life Safety license if applicable would be a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean record (no DUI/DWI within the last 3 years). Deep knowledge of cabling infrastructure, blueprints, site maps, and closeout documentation. Certified (or willing to get certified in orientation class) to operate a boom or scissor lift and comfortable working at heights. Own basic telecommunication tools, PPE, and reliable transit for the initial training period. Flexible and fully available for project-related travel. #J-18808-Ljbffr Wachter
