About us

We are a small manufacturing company that builds three purpose-built machines for the lumber and shed building industries — an Edger, a Truss Press, and a Rafter Notcher. We build things that work, solve real problems, and land in customers' shops ready to perform. We are a tight crew that takes pride in what comes off our floor. We are growing fast and we need the right person to grow with us.

The role

This is a hands-on lead position. Right now you will be building alongside the team. Over time, as we grow, your role shifts toward managing production, developing people, and owning the floor. If you want a job where you can eventually step back from the tools and build something — a team, a system, a culture — this is it.

What you will do

• Own the daily pace and output of the shop floor
• Build machines from prints — fabrication, welding, and assembly
• Develop and mentor younger crew members — teach, don't just tell
• Identify inefficiencies and bring solutions to the table
• Hold yourself and the team to a standard of quality and speed
• Work closely with ownership to build repeatable production systems

What we are looking for

• Proven fabrication and welding skills — you can do it and you can evaluate it
• Experience leading or developing people in a shop or trade setting
• Ability to read and work from prints
• A mindset that asks — how do we do this faster without cutting corners?
• Someone who is stable, rooted, and building something for the long haul
• Comfortable in a small company where things are still being figured out
