We're SugarHouse Awning, and we're hiring a passionate part-time Marketing Head to drive real results for our Midvale, UT team! We manufacture and sell custom products across several markets, including residential and commercial shade products, awnings, marine products, and other specialty fabricated products. We're a real-world, hands-on business. Our marketing has to connect digital channels with actual customers, leads, estimates, projects, products, salespeople, showrooms, and ultimately revenue. We're not interested in marketing for marketing's sake. We want marketing that helps grow the business.This is primarily a management position, as you'll be deciding the direction of our marketing department and personally executing effective strategies for improving campaign performance. If you feel up for the challenge, keep reading!RESPONSIBILITIES:Even though this is a part-time position, your vision and leadership will make a full-time impact! As our Marketing Head, you'll take ownership of our advertising department, personally drive strategic improvements, and support the CEO in making informed business decisions. You'll translate our goals into actionable steps for generating new leads, increasing brand awareness, and supporting long-term growth, then lead your team in appropriately executing these strategies. From idea to implementation, you'll make sure all campaign aspects are properly handled and efficiently completed. You'll set goals and timelines for your team and adjust processes as needed to keep campaigns on track. You'll measure performance metrics to identify what works and what doesn't, and use this data to shape future plans.Your scope includes online advertising, digital marketing, in-person events/trade shows, and other lead generation initiatives. You'll stay on top of SEO, AI trends and updates, and changing customer behaviors to keep our advertising competitive. Working closely with the sales team, you'll improve your knowledge of our customer base, lead quality, market opportunities, sales priorities, and vendor relationships. Our part-time Marketing Head manages the advertising budget and strategically invests in initiatives to maximize return. A solid foundation in marketing and leadership is valuable, as you'll be overseeing others' performance, coordinating plans, and directly driving improvements in our advertising space.
