GreatHorse History We love the game of golf, but since we don't love the attitude encountered at most clubs, we decided to build GreatHorse around the idea of like-minded members enjoying a lifestyle club without the stuffiness of traditional clubs. GreatHorse is a private club in Hampden, Massachusetts, where everyone will feel completely at home in our opulent mountain retreat. The Story Behind the Name As one of the most sought-after breeders in the nation, the Antonacci family has been synonymous with racing greatness and integrity for over 50 years. Their involvement as owners and breeders in five Hambletonian Champions with some of the greatest racehorses the sport has ever seen makes them well-known on harness racing's biggest stages. To reflect this proud history, they selected GreatHorse, English for "Gran Cavallo," the title of Leonardo Da Vinci's magnificent horse statue. Position Summary The Busser is responsible for providing an excellent member experience within our private lifestyle club. They also ensure the tables are set, silverware is placed correctly, and glasses stay full. They support the food and beverage servers to ensure all tables are set and cleared promptly. The busser must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Your Role Preparing dining areas before guests are seated. Placing tableware, napkins, and condiments on tables. Serve water and refill beverages when needed. Assist servers with clearing glassware and dishes. Breading the table, placing a shared plate and necessary silverware. Responding to member requests. Polish water glasses. Polish and roll silverware. Interact with members while performing service duties. Comply with all food and beverage regulations. Setup and breakdown all food and beverage events. Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards. Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs. Your Skills Previous work experience as a busser, food runner, or other entry-level role in a restaurant/club is a plus. Availability to work various shifts, including weekends. Multi-tasking abilities. Good oral communication skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment. Desirable requirements Must be at least 16 years old. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. Have a good attitude and participate as a member of the team. Understanding of restaurant/club etiquette. Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical Demands Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity most of the workday. Required to exert physical effort to handle objects over 30 pounds. Required to walk or stand for long periods.
