Tax Accountant

Duration – 3+ months contract position, with the possibility of extension Shift Time – 3 days a week onsite. Monday required, other days TBD. More days could be required after project is live. Onsite Schedule Position Overview The City of Taunton is looking for an Accountant to manage the tracking and reporting of overtime under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) for the Police and Fire departments. The number of days needed per week may be more than 3 when getting the project off the ground. They would be working with the Payroll department and IT department to figure out the best way to track OT by employee by week.
