About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, FHM, NRP, NCC EFM acceptable in lieu of AWHONN Must-Have: - Required experience in Labor and Delivery - Ability to assist with vaginal deliveries and circulate for C-sections - Experience in high-risk antepartum and intrapartum care Description: This position offers an elevated seasonal winter rate. Rates will return to standard amounts after the specified date. Canceled contracts due to rate changes after signing will result in a specific designation. The facility has 9 labor/high-risk rooms and 3 triage areas. No on-call duty is required; the staff may float to postpartum if needed. Fetal heart monitoring and high-risk pregnancy monitoring are essential. Perform C-sections and vaginal deliveries, with a couplet care role for postpartum if necessary. Staff is expected to have patient ratio experience. First-time travelers are not accepted. Every other weekend requirement applies. Pending licensure is not accepted. Requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. Travelers may be expected to float between affiliated facilities. The facility does not accept negative background checks. References are required covering recent work experience within the last three years.
