The Guest Support Specialist is a fast‑paced customer service role focused on greeting guests, handling calls, and supporting the reception desk. Responsibilities Greet all employees and guests in the reception area with a friendly manner. Provide exceptional customer service to all employees or guests by greeting them with a smile and assisting with their questions or concerns. Answer incoming guest calls in a timely and professional manner. Utilize park communications devices to relay relevant information to Safety, Security, or other team members or leaders. Resolve questions guests or employees may have, or direct them to the appropriate person. Represent the company well internally and externally, conveying a professional and positive image. Respond and handle guest inquiries through the website via Salesforce. Assist with payment plan reconciliation and collections, as well as refunds in conjunction with the Finance Team. Perform a wide variety of administrative tasks and data entry. Utilize general office equipment to perform various administrative tasks (telephones, PC, POS, credit card machine, camera, cash register, etc.). Assist with scheduling and timekeeping for assigned hourly employees. Enter and receive purchase orders into the Workday system. Assist with inventory transfers in the Workday system. Keep assigned reception and office areas neat, clean, organized, and sanitary. Assist with reuniting guests with their lost belongings in Lost & Found. Promptly escallate any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or emergencies to the proper authorities. Perform all other duties as assigned by leadership. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with NY child labor laws. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Reliable transportation to and from work for your scheduled shift. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns positively. Proactive, quick learner, collaborator, and works well in a team and independently. Clear, concise, and persuasive communication with diverse personnel and guests. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to use office technology and equipment such as PCs, software, and copiers. Ability to follow direction, multitask, and work as part of a team or independently. Preferred: 1+ years of administrative work experience; previous phone or customer service experience a plus; previous amusement park, theme park, or waterpark experience a plus; previous experience with Salesforce a plus. Preferred: fluent in English and Spanish or other bilingual language skills. Physical Requirements Ability to remain seated for extended periods while using a computer. Ability to stand or walk for long periods throughout the workday. Ability to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders. Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 30 pounds or more. Ability to consistently use hands to grasp, control, and move objects or tools. Working Conditions Primarily based in an office setting with frequent interaction with other outdoor park locations. Frequent exposure to variable outdoor temperatures, high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, and other weather conditions. Subject to frequent interruptions, constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, flashing lights, and heavily populated environments. Exposure to dust, dirt, and cleaning/laundry chemicals.
