Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.All duties as assigned and the following specific activities:Prepare shipping documents, receiving documents and contracts.Inform customers by mail or telephone confirmation numbers for delivery's and shipments, shipping and receiving dates, and any anticipated delays.Maintain shipping and receiving dock schedules.Learn and stay in compliance with protocols and SOP's.Manage time effectively to complete assignments in expected time frame.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Communicate to the Shipping-Receiving Manager all or any issues found in the Shipping-Receiving office.Operate a forklift to load, unload and move materials, as needed.Analyze and resolve, or assist workers in solving daily work problemsPerforming day-to-day tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork. Diploma or GEDStrong Mathematical abilitiesExperience :1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment or in a similar role.Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.Technology/Software (years):Strong Microsoft Office Proficiency (Word, Excel)Shipping software (UPS, FEDEX) experience strongly preferredCommunication:Must have good communication skills (both verbal and written)Must have ability to work well under pressureBilingual English/Spanish preferredPhysical CapabilitiesStrength: Must be able to regularly lift 55 lbs.Movement: Must be able to stand / walk for an entire eight hour shift.
