As an unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as needed, and support a welcoming healthcare environment. Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
