Responsibilities Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. POSITION SUMMARY: Functions as a healthcare team member under the direction of the RN implementing physician orders, maintaining charts, facilitating communication between patients and staff, greeting customers, and ensuring the availability of forms and supplies to deliver patient care. Qualifications Reading and numerical competency. Must be able to type 40 wpm with accuracy. Must have a minimal level of medical terminology. Must have strong communication and time management skills. Must be able to identify and address the special needs of patients of all ages including neonate, pediatrics, adolescents and geriatrics for effective communication.
