Description Senior Laboratory Assistant at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange in Orange, CA. This position is Full-time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts. Under the direction and supervision of the Division Supervisor/Manager, the Sr Lab Assistant ensures accurate and timely drawing, receipt, centrifugation, and delivery of laboratory specimens to appropriate departments and reference labs. Staff duties may include specimen collection (Phlebotomy), receiving, accessioning, plating and set up (Processing, Microbiology, Pathology), and loading specimens on instruments and basic instrument maintenance (Chemistry, Hematology, Pathology). The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
