Senior Maintenance Supervisor — Multifamily (100+ Units)

Description Location: Downey, CA Pay Rate: $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience Beach Front Property Management is seeking an experienced and hands‑on Maintenance Supervisor for a well‑maintained conventional apartment community located in the Downey, CA area. We are looking for a proactive and reliable maintenance professional who takes pride in maintaining high community standards and leading day‑to‑day maintenance operations. Responsibilities Oversee daily maintenance operations for a 100+ unit apartment community Complete and manage resident service requests in a timely manner Lead unit turns and make‑ready processes for vacant apartments Supervise vendors and contractors to ensure quality work Perform preventative maintenance and property inspections Maintain pool areas, grounds, landscaping, and common areas in a clean and organized condition at all times Ensure strong curb appeal and community presentation standards are consistently maintained Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance issues Maintain inventory, supplies, and maintenance budgets Ensure OSHA and safety compliance standards are met Participate in on‑call rotation and emergency response as needed Requirements Previous apartment maintenance supervisory experience required Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pools, and general maintenance EPA Certification required (Type I & II or Universal preferred) Strong leadership and organizational skills Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively Excellent customer service and communication skills Must provide own basic hand tools Compensation & Benefits Medical, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and holidays 401(k) opportunities Growth opportunities within a growing management company Supportive and team‑oriented work environment Physical Demands / Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met or may be encountered by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
