divh2Delivery Driver/h2pStarting wage is based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience./ppThe Delivery Truck Driver is responsible for the safe operation of the companys truck with a typical weight capacity of 30-55,000 pounds (GVW). This role is responsible for all functions related to the vehicle, including the pre-trip report (DVIR), ensuring the truck is loaded properly, the material is secured to the truck, delivery of materials to the customer location, and processing of all customer delivery paperwork./ph3Job Description Responsibilities:/h3ulliSafely operate a heavy-load truck./liliEnsure all material is properly secured at the beginning of the shift and continuously monitor after each delivery./liliEnsure that all customer supporting paperwork is completed and returned at the end of each shift./liliCollect, document, and properly secure money received to ensure alignment with customer paperwork./liliReport any issues or incidents related to material damage or customer matters to dispatch./liliPerform the daily truck inspection, pre- and post-trip (DVIR)./liliSeek advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor./liliPerform and document inspections to ensure truck and equipment are kept in good condition./li/ulh3Basic Qualifications:/h3ulliHigh School Diploma or GED required./liliMinimum of 2 years of truck driving experience with a proven track record of safe driving./liliPossession of a CDL (type A or B) Commercial drivers license./liliProficient in driving manual transmission trucks./liliCapability to operate a gate lift./liliProficiency in operating an electric pallet jack./liliExperience in handling commercial and residential deliveries./liliAbility to service all regions distribution centers./liliExcellent communication and interpersonal skills./liliTravel is required for this position./liliSuccessful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check is mandatory./li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications:/h3ulliKnowledge of DOT rules and regulations/liliMinimum of 5 years of truck driving experience with a proven track record of safe driving./li/ulp$25 - $25 USD/ppMedical Dental Vision Employer Paid Basic Employee Life and ADD Insurance Employer Paid Long Term Disability Flexible Spending Accounts Voluntary Short-Term Disability Voluntary Life and ADD Insurance Voluntary Accident Insurance Voluntary Critical Illness Insurance/ppAt Construction Resources, our people are the driving force behind everything we do.
