Vascular Surgery - Advanced Practice Provider

Rush Heart & Vascular, part of the Rush University System for Health network of hospitals, is seeking a Vascular Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join our growing practice in downtown Chicago. Position Highlights Rush Heart & Vascular’s downtown Chicago practice is based at Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges. Join a collaborative team of six vascular surgeons and four advanced practice providers. This position is primarily based at Rush’s downtown Chicago campus and follows a Monday–Friday schedule consisting of four 10-hour shifts, with no nights, weekends, or call responsibilities. Provide care for patients with complex medical conditions across both inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will promote collaboration between multiple disciplines to ensure cost-effective and quality patient care. Exemplify the Rush mission, vision and values and act in accordance with the policies, procedures, guidelines of Rush, including Rush Medical Group Customer Service standards. Meet all state and federal regulatory practice and accreditation standards. Qualifications APRN candidates must hold Acute Care Certification (required). Prior APP experience in Vascular Surgery is strongly preferred; relevant RN experience may also be considered. Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, strong communication skills, and collaborative, team-based care. Position Requirements Nurse Practitioner Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process. Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing practice with clinical specialty appropriate to position. Current certification by American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP). CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Physician Assistant Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process. Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program. Current certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Benefits Competitive total compensation: $130,840 - $184,000. Additional compensation may include premium pay rates, sign-on bonuses, relocation allowances.
