Must-Have: Siemens scanner experience preferred


Description:
Must have ARRT CT certification in hand at the time of submission.
The shift is from Sunday to Tuesday, working three 12-hour shifts each week.
Daily caseload per tech is variable.
First-time travelers are accepted.
On-call requirements are not needed.
Weekends: Sundays required with the specified shift.
Clinicians will float within their scope to meet facility needs.
No floating required to sister facilities.
Local candidates are not accepted within a 75-mile radius.
Pending state licenses are not accepted.
No time off restrictions beyond 7 days within the 13-week contract.
Special requirements include experience in a Level 1 trauma center and complex cases.
All Siemens scanners will be used.
Preference for candidates with Level 1 experience or large hospital experience.
General skills experience required includes PACS and contrasts.
General skills experience preferred includes IV starts, portables, and biopsies.
CT procedure experience required includes abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CTA, and multiplanar reconstruction.
CT procedure experience preferred includes aspirations/biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, and transplant studies.
The facility is a short-term acute care teaching facility with Level 1 trauma designation.
Total staffed beds in the facility are 1259.
Charting system utilized is Epic.
Travelers must fulfill all requirements and limitations as stipulated for the role.
Floating within the service line is expected for all travelers.
Candidates should have experience in adult inpatient and outpatient care.
