Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access awareness through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $16.07 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the warehouse, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or contractor entry as directed by site procedures, and document security-related incidents, activities, and unusual conditions.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing trailer yards, freight movement areas, and restricted locations for suspicious or unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
