We are seeking an Early Childhood Assistant to join our team! You will assist in the development and supervision of children.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and interact with children in a safe and compassionate manner
- Implement creative activities to assist with child development
- Create a positive and nurturing environment for children (daily cleaning/sanitizing classrooms)
- Perform a variety of tasks, feeding, changing diapers, and overseeing play
- Possible assistance needed in kitchen
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with childcare or other related fields
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build rapport with children, their parents and other staff members
- Positive, patient demeanor and must be a flexible team player
- Must have received at lease 2 does of Covid 19 vaccine
- Must have a minimum of High School Diploma
LECC is located in the beautiful Edison Park, Chicago neighborhood. We are a small, stable childcare center that has been open for 7+ years. Our total capacity is 33 children with 3 classrooms and 7-8 staff members. We are open Monday-Friday, 6:30-5:30pm.
