Compensation Range$200,000.00 - $220,000.00 Annual SalaryJob Description Summary:Primary responsibilities of the role include handling a variety of legal work related to the company's core business, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, and other legal documents for corporate use, as well as providing advice to management and project teams on legal rights, obligations and privileges of the corporation. Trusted and strategic partner to other Departments and Operations within the organization.Job Description:Position Responsibilities and Duties:Provide strategic legal and business advice to the partner operating groups as it relates to given disciplineReview, draft and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, including complex construction agreementsDraft and review responses to Requests for Qualifications and ProposalsRepresent the company in meetings with outside parties, including participating in the resolution of highly complex or sensitive legal issuesOversee and perform certain discovery effortsProvide training for company personnelStay current on legal trends and best practices as it relates to applicable law, and communicate relevant developments as it relates to given disciplineCollaborate and manage outside counsel and consultantsPerform advanced legal researchOversee non-attorney team members, as assignedComplete other responsibilities, as assignedMINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Law degree from an accredited law school, and member in good standing of any of the following states: CA, CO, GA, NC, NY, OR, TX or WA6+ years of experience with a law firm or 4+ years of combined experience with a law firm and in-houseKnowledge of construction law, construction process, methodology and documentsKnowledge of corporate governance principlesPossess unquestionable ethics and integritySuperior analytical skills, problem-solving, interpersonal skills and negotiation skillsLeadership and management abilityPreference of cross-functional collaboration skills and cross-functional understanding of other organizational departmentsAbility to travel on a regular basisStrong team player and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals at all levels of an organizationStrong sense of accountability, integrity and taking ownership over projects and responsibilities, and resolving issues proactivelyReliability, dependability and flexibilityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work under tight deadlines and to manage multiple demands, priorities, and projects simultaneouslySUMMARY OF BENEFITS:This role is eligible for the following benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company matching, Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), individual stock ownership, paid vacation, paid sick leave, paid holidays, bereavement leave, employee assistance program, pre-tax flexible spending accounts, basic term life insurance and AD&D, business travel accident insurance, short and long term disability, financial wellness coaching, educational assistance, Care.com membership, ClassPass fitness membership, and DashPass delivery membership.
