Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Michigan

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, including 3 weekends per 4-week schedule.

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess Level I trauma experience and the ability to manage high patient ratios in a fast-paced environment. This role will involve working collaboratively with a variety of support teams to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Level I Trauma Center.
• Manage and interpret dysrhythmias and patient responses to treatment.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including case management and specialty services.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting care in Epic charting system.
• Participate in triage and management of patients in the Pediatric Emergency Department as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active Michigan RN License.
• ACLS, BCLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting with Level I trauma experience.
• Experience with Epic charting and management of dysrhythmias.
