Production Graphic Artist

We are seeking a Production Graphic Artist to join our client’s team in Anderson, SC. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and comfortable working in a structured, production-driven environment. This position involves creating layouts and proofs from existing customer samples and digital files, as well as preparing approved proofs for flexographic and digital printing. Please note: This is not a traditional creative graphic design position. The role is more closely related to CAD/drafting, production file preparation, and clerical work, with a significant portion of the position dedicated to filing and organizing production materials. Responsibilities Follow a strict production schedule and ensure all required components are prepared and delivered to production accurately and on time. Use customer-provided original files to make adjustments and prepare artwork for production. Create layouts and proofs from existing customer samples when needed. Review files and identify potential production issues, resolving problems in a timely and accurate manner. Maintain a high level of accuracy, efficiency, professionalism, and customer service. File, pull, and create flexographic plates for production orders when required. Handle complex customer and production requests professionally. Work effectively in a fast-paced production environment. Learn and adapt to new processes and technologies as the printing industry continues to evolve. Perform a substantial amount of clerical filing, organization, and record-keeping related to production orders. Requirements Proficient in Adobe Illustrator; candidates may be required to complete a skills test. Ability to manipulate customer artwork and digital files to meet print-production requirements. Understanding of common digital file formats. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability and willingness to learn new processes and production techniques. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers. Ability to follow detailed instructions and established production procedures. Comfortable performing clerical filing and organizational tasks. Pay: $22.00/hour Shift: 1st Shift
