Job Description
Position Overview\n
The HealthLinkNow Mental and Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our vibrant team in a full-time remote capacity. As an integral member of our organization, you will provide telehealth counseling services to clients, contributing to their mental wellbeing and helping them navigate their emotional landscapes. This position allows you to work from home, offering the flexibility to manage your schedule while earning a competitive salary between USD 90,000 and 100,000 annually.
About the Organization\nAt HealthLinkNow, we are committed to enhancing the mental health of individuals across Long Beach, California, and beyond. Our innovative telehealth platform allows us to deliver quality counseling services efficiently, ensuring that our clients receive the support they need. We pride ourselves on creating a compassionate environment where the well-being of our clients is our top priority. The care we provide is founded on evidence-based practices and tailored to meet the specific needs of those we serve.
Work Environment\nThis is a fully remote role that grants you the autonomy to establish your work environment. You will work from the comfort of your own home, utilizing our state-of-the-art technology platform to conduct counseling sessions via video or text. This setup encourages a healthy work-life balance and allows you to tailor your working hours to suit your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct individual counseling sessions through video chat, focusing on strategies to improve mental health and overall well-being. \n
- Foster a safe and supportive atmosphere where clients can openly discuss their emotions, experiences, and challenges. \n
- Actively serve as an advocate for clients, assisting them in defining and achieving their mental health goals. \n
- Evaluate client mental health conditions and develop personalized treatment plans using solution-focused approaches grounded in your clinical expertise. \n
- Provide continuous support and guidance throughout the therapeutic process, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on client progress. \n
- Document all client interactions accurately and efficiently using our integrated therapy platform. \n
Your clientele will consist primarily of stable, low-acuity adults who have been carefully screened prior to booking services. This ensures that you will work with individuals who are motivated for therapy yet do not present with severe mental health crises. Additionally, we will match you with clients who align with your specialty areas and demographic preferences, allowing for a more tailored counseling experience.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Must possess a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. \n
- Must have valid and up-to-date licensure (LPCC, LMFT, LCSW) by the state board, allowing for independent practice. \n
- No provisional or limited licenses will be accepted; candidates must demonstrate a clean licensing history devoid of disciplinary actions. \n
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature are essential for establishing rapport with clients. \n
- Proficient in the use of technology and virtual counseling tools for effective session delivery. \n
- \n
- Experience in telehealth settings, though not required, is highly preferred and will bolster your adaptability in this role. \n
- Previous experience in individual counseling, particularly with the adult population, is a strong asset. \n
- Competency in diverse therapeutic modalities is beneficial, supporting varied client needs. \n
- \n
- Annual salary range between USD 90,000 and 100,000, commensurate with experience. \n
- Competitive sign-on bonus offered to help you start your journey with us. \n
- Comprehensive administrative and technological support to ensure you can focus on providing quality care. \n
- Minimal paperwork, allowing you to concentrate on client interactions rather than administrative burdens. \n
- Unlimited referrals, ensuring a consistent flow of client bookings based on your availability. \n
- Easy onboarding process, with specialists prepared to facilitate your readiness to see clients in an expedited manner within 1-3 days. \n
