Location: Geneva, OH Area School Year: 2024-2025 Position: Full-Time Special Education Teacher Work Schedule: August 19, 2024 - June 5, 2025, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM Caseload: High School Inclusion (24 students) Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Geneva, OH, for the 2024-2025 school year. This full‑time position involves working closely with high school students in an inclusion setting, providing essential support and specialized instruction to ensure each student's success. Key Responsibilities Facilitate & progress‑monitor IEPs: develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students, ensuring their educational needs are met and progress is tracked effectively. Deliver specially‑designed instruction: provide targeted, evidence‑based instruction tailored to each student's needs, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Provide accommodations/modifications: implement necessary accommodations and modifications to support diverse learning needs, ensuring equitable access to the curriculum for all students. Qualifications Valid teaching certification in Special Education. Proven experience in a high school setting, with a focus on inclusion and individualized instruction. Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage a caseload of 24 students. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with students, parents, and other educational professionals.
