Home Care Aide

Visiting Angels Central Delaware is seeking compassionate and dependable Home Care Aides to join our team! As a Home Care Aide, you will provide personal care and support to seniors in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and quality of life. Responsibilities:

Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral care
Support clients with mobility, transfers, exercise, and safe ambulation
Help with meal planning, food shopping, and meal preparation
Provide light housekeeping, including laundry and changing bed linens
Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support
Assist with medication reminders and support transportation needs as outlined in the care plan
Document care provided and report changes in client condition

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age
A caring, compassionate, and positive attitude
Previous caregiving experience (preferred, but not required)
Valid driver's license
Personal vehicle with valid insurance
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical caregiving tasks
Must pass background checks, health screenings, and TB testing as required
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
