Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing Speech-Language Pathology services for infants and toddlers near Lexington Park, MD. This position is based at a district office and offers the chance to make a real impact in the lives of young learners during their crucial early developmental years.

Start working as soon as possible and continue supporting students through July 2027. Your schedule will consist of two to three days per week, creating a balanced work-life blend for experienced professionals seeking flexibility.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology license for the state of Maryland
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience working with infants and toddlers, especially in an educational setting, is highly valued
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for young children
  • Reliable transportation for travel to the district office

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to infants and toddlers as part of an educational support team
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEP/IFSPs, and regularly monitor student progress
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Actively collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary staff to support children’s communication development
  • Attend team meetings as required and participate in ongoing professional development
