HIRING FOR AM & PM SHIFTS

Essential Functions

Operations

• Be an ambassador of the Dairy Queen brand and be professional in every aspect of performance
• Complete assigned preparation work for stocking and setting up grill area
• Calmly solve fan concerns and embrace Dairy Queen's service recovery standards
• Maintain a cooperative working relationship with management and fellow team members
• Create and maintain a positive, safe, clean, and inviting environment for fans and team members

Fan Service

• Assist fans with menu navigation and product ingredient questions
• Strive to exceed fan expectations and deliver fan first service through timely and quality service
• Calmly solve fan concerns and embrace Dairy Queen's service recovery standards
• Build relationships with return or preferred patrons.

Health and Safety Standards

• ServSafe certification is not required but recommended.
• Quickly and accurately prepare food products following restaurant, health, and safety standards
• Properly and safely operate and maintain restaurant equipment including grill, fryer, freezer, and other cooking equipment
• Prepare products following restaurant, health, and safety standards and procedures
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures, complying with health and legal regulations, and maintaining security systems or routines.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by the shift leads or management staff.

Work Conditions

Must have ability to:

• Perform under pressure in a high-volume restaurant including moving and responding quickly for long periods of time.
• Work in and out of different temperature ranges.
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work around nuts and other allergens.

Work schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
