Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, onsite contract runs the entire academic year and allows you to focus on personalized support for students, ensuring their well-being and health needs are met throughout the school day.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered LPN or LVN license in Pennsylvania
• Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric healthcare preferred
• Strong skills in behavioral health and/or psychiatric settings are an asset
• Ability to provide compassionate, individualized care for children requiring close support
• Excellent communication, observation, and record-keeping abilities
• Collaborative attitude for working with educators, administrators, and family members

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive 1:1 nursing care, including medication administration, health monitoring, and emergency response for an assigned student
• Develop and implement care plans in consultation with educational and healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and school guidelines
• Serve as a vital liaison between the school, families, and healthcare providers
• Educate students and staff on health and wellness practices as needed
• Respond promptly and effectively to any health or behavioral issues during school hours
