Visiting Assistant Professor of Engineering - Environmental

The Department of Engineering at Swarthmore College invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor for the Spring 2027 semester. The successful candidate will be able to teach one to two introductory and elective courses in Environmental Engineering, such as Introduction to Environmental Engineering, Solid Waste Engineering, Wastewater treatment, Air Quality, Water Quality, etc. This is a position for a single semester, with the possibility for extension on mutual agreement and upon successful review for up to 1 additional year, for a total of 3 semesters.

Qualifications

Candidates with a Ph.D. in engineering or a related field are encouraged to apply, as are ABD graduate students currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program in engineering or a related field.
