Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Grandview Medical Center

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Nights, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM with alternating weekends.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical-surgical setting and be prepared to provide high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, planning care delivery, and providing nursing support during your assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health status and provide appropriate interventions
• Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document all patient interactions and care provided in a timely manner
• Effectively communicate with patients and their families regarding care and treatment
• Participate in patient education initiatives and health promotion

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Cerner experience preferred
• Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med-Surg experience preferred
