Asphalt Plant Operator – Columbia, Woodford, and BatesburgJoin the C.R. Jackson team! We're looking for two reliable Asphalt Plant Operators to run and maintain our asphalt plants in Columbia, Woodford, and Batesburg, SC. You'll make sure materials are mixed correctly, equipment runs safely, and production stays on schedule. This role is essential to producing top-quality asphalt for our paving projects.Responsibilities:Operate and monitor the asphalt plant safely and efficientlyStart up, run, and shut down the plant as scheduledAdjust controls for proper material flow, mix quality, and temperatureLoad asphalt trucks using computerized plant controlsPerform daily maintenance and clean-up of plant equipmentTroubleshoot mechanical issues and make minor repairsReport any equipment or safety issues immediatelyFollow all company, DOT, OSHA, and DHEC safety standardsQualifications:High school diploma or GED2+ years of industrial or plant experience (asphalt preferred)Strong mechanical, communication, and troubleshooting skillsAble to use Microsoft Office and plant control systemsExperience with hand tools, welding machines, and cutting torchesComfortable working at heights over 50 ft and in temperatures from 40°F–110°FWilling to work all shifts — days, nights, weekends, and overtime as neededValid driver's license and reliable transportationKnowledge of DOT, OSHA, and DHEC regulations is a plusWhat We Offer:Competitive payHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid disability insurance401(k) with company matchPaid holidays and vacationLocal workSupportive team and room to grow
