Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse working in a long-term care setting, located in Oswego, New York. This is a travel - temporary assignment in a hospital, starting 09/28/2026 for 8 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,202 to $1,298 per week, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shifts are day shifts with 12-hour coverage (6am–6pm or 10am–10pm), typically 3 days per week, and includes every other weekend.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care to adults in a long-term care context within a hospital setting, under supervision as required.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments; document administration in the medical record and medication administration record.
- Monitor vital signs and patient status; assess for changes related to dementia and other chronic conditions; escalate concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to update care plans and participate in rounds and patient assessments.
- Assist with activities of daily living, promote patient safety, manage dementia-related needs, and respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.

Requirements
- Active New York Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- 1+ year of experience in long-term care or dementia care
- Education: Graduate of an approved practical nursing program; NY licensure
- Must be willing to float to different units as needed
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (6am–6pm or 10am–10pm) and every other weekend
