Role: Deckhand

The Deckhand's role is to help maintain a clean and orderly pool deck to ensure that students are staff and all items remain organized. They may be required to assist Instructors with getting equipment or helping students to and from class. Periodically throughout their shift, Deckhands will clean the locker rooms and make sure toilet paper/paper towels are stocked. A love for working with children and a positive personality are essential. Smiling is part of the Deckhands uniform :) Upholding a team-mentality where all employees support each other and are excited to help teach swimming is FUNdamental!

Compensation: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour Charlotte Aquatics is the premier swim school in Charlotte! We are family owned / operated and have been providing swim lessons to the community for 27 years. Our child-focused approach builds trust that enables our students to become not only comfortable but confident and competent in the water. Our employees are hand-picked and go through extensive training so they too feel confident in their role and understand how they are part of SAVING KIDS LIVES!
