This role involves performing a variety of clinical duties and technical procedures toassistin the delivery of healthcare services to patients within our Neurosurgeryand Neurologydepartments. You will play a key role in coordinating the care of in-patient and emergency department patients, helping deliver specializedneurocareacross a wide range of procedures and conditions. Responsibilities Provide clinical care to patients in the Neurosurgeryand Neurologydepartments, attending to both in-patient and emergency department needs. Assistwith a variety ofneurocritical careprocedures including craniotomies, spinal surgeries, and diagnostic testing such as ICP monitoring and CSF drainage trials. Perform duties in compliance withhospital and departmental policiesto ensure safety for both patients and staff. Maintain active engagement with continuing education,identifyingtrainingand development opportunities. Ensuredocumentation compliancewith hospital and department policies, includingmaintaining National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)and Maryland State Licensurerequirements. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in the diagnosis and management of neurocritical and general neurosurgery patients. Qualifications Current Maryland Physician Assistant or CRNPor Acute Care Nurse Practitioner License. Basic Life Support (BLS)certification.
