Locums OB/GYN Physician - South Carolina | 24-Hour Call Coverage

Locums OB/GYN opportunity at a rural facility in South Carolina seeking ongoing 24-hour call coverage, with potential clinic support as needed. Physicians should be comfortable working independently in a rural setting and managing deliveries and C-sections.

Highlights

• 24-hour call coverage with upcoming openings
• Ongoing coverage opportunities, including full-week stretches in 2027
• Potential clinic support as needed, including stepping in when additional physician coverage is needed
• Average delivery volume of approximately 4 births per week
• EPIC EMR

Schedule & Practice Setting

• 24-hour call coverage, 7 a.m.-7 a.m.
• Rural practice setting with independent clinical responsibilities
• Clinic support may be requested 2-3 days per week or as needed to support the APP/midwife team

Cases & Procedures

• Deliveries and C-sections required
• Circumcision is not required

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Active South Carolina medical license required for 2026 dates
• Unlicensed physicians may be considered for 2027 opportunities if available for full-week stretches
