Warehouse Sorter

Staff Management Group is seeking a Warehouse Sorter for our client in Secaucus, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 8AM - 4:30PM

Pay Rate:

• $18 / hour

Job Summary:


We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Sorter to support daily warehouse operations by sorting garments, performing quality inspections, maintaining inventory accuracy, and updating records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS). This role is responsible for ensuring products are properly classified, organized, and processed according to company standards. The ideal candidate is bilingual, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Sort garments based on specific classifications and company guidelines
• Perform Quality Assurance (QA) checks to ensure product accuracy and condition
• Inspect garments for defects, damage, and proper categorization
• Conduct physical inventory counts on incoming donations and damaged merchandise
• Enter and maintain accurate data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Verify inventory information and report discrepancies when identified
• Organize and maintain sorted inventory in designated warehouse locations
• Follow company procedures and quality standards at all times
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• MUST be bilingual - English AND Spanish
• Retail experience is a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy in daily tasks
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
