ABOUT THE BRAND Realm is The New Standard of Air Care™ – fine fragrance for the home that’s free of toxins and full of pleasure. Our mission is elevating the everyday through premium scent, design, and clean, transparent ingredients. We've sold out 5X, are currently sold in Target, Erewhon, Happier Grocer, and are rapidly expanding and growing. Team members will contribute to building a modern, fast-growing brand from the ground up. REPORTS TO Ashley Sweeney, Founder & CEO. LOCATION New York City, required. You will film in person with Ashley roughly every other week, 4 to 8 hours per session. CROSS-FUNCTIONAL PARTNERS Founder & CEO (Ashley): in-person filming and founder-led content. Head of Marketing (Lynn): content concepting & direction, plus any video that runs across channels or as paid creative. Creative agency(Instagram): creates our IG content, which you can repurpose for TikTok. You own the TikTok schedule and coordination. RESPONSIBILITIES Content creation and editing (the core) Come up with content concepts/series and execute them, working with our marketing lead on a weekly to biweekly basis. Film social-first video, including in-person shoots with our founder every other week. Edit high-quality, social-first video, using Frame.io or another platform for markups and review. Repurpose what makes sense from the Instagram content our agency creates, and pull in reposts from our community. Own organic TikTok Own our organic TikTok end to end: schedule, coordination, and a minimum of 7-10 posts per week. Curate the content you make with Ashley, film additional content on your own, and mix in agency and community content so the feed stays full and native. Set up, run, and produce TikTok Lives, including founder lives with Ashley: production, operations, connections, and best practices. Proactively create content based on trends, cultural happenings, and opportunities from videos we are tagged in. Community management Manage community across every social channel (IG, FB, TT, YT): comments, DMs, and proactive commenting where it makes sense. Spend roughly 30 minutes a day checking every channel's DMs, resharing comments, and engaging. Cross-functional Coordinate with the marketing lead on videos that need to run across all channels or as ad creative. Keep TikTok aligned with the brand while owning its day-to-day voice and presence. QUALIFICATIONS 2-3 years of experience in social media coordination, content operations, or a similar role A strong content creator and editor first: you can concept and execute, not just film or just edit. Savvy at video capture, including high-quality phone recording and best practices. Other video skills (digital cameras, additional gear) are a plus. Experience with social analytics tools, and comfort pulling and interpreting performance reporting A skilled social-first video editor, comfortable using Frame.io for markups and review. Experience with TikTok Lives (setup, production, and running them) is a big plus. Fluent in TikTok trends, formats, and native storytelling, with fast turnaround. Strong at community management and comfortable being the brand's voice in comments and DMs. Based in New York City and available to film in person with our founder every other week, open to traveling. Enthusiasm for clean living, fragrance, and thoughtful design. YOU ARE Detail-oriented and organized, with a strong sense of ownership over deadlines and day-to-day execution Native fluency in Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and whatever's next, you're the person who spots a new format, sound, or platform shift before it shows up in a trend report Organized under pressure, able to juggle multiple channels and deadlines at once without dropping the details THE DETAILS Type: part-time to full-time, minimum 20 hours per week, with room to grow into full-time. Location: New York City, required. Reports to: Ashley Sweeney, Founder & CEO. Filming: in person with the founder roughly every other week, 4 to 8 hours per session. Compensation Range: USD $80,000 - USD $90,000/Annually. This is the pay range Realm believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position.
