Physical Therapy Assistant

Encompass Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. In this role, you’ll support physical therapists in delivering evidence‑based treatment to patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic surgeries, and other complex conditions. Responsibilities include implementing therapy plans, assisting with mobility and ADL training, monitoring patient progress, documenting care, and maintaining equipment and safe environments. You’ll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and contribute to a mission‑driven, patient‑centered culture with strong clinical resources and growth opportunities.
