Step into a rewarding career supporting K-12 students across three vibrant schools near Edison, NJ as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. Whether you’re seeking part-time flexibility or the structure of a full-time schedule, this opportunity lets you tailor your week, working 3–4 days with an option for 5 days if desired.
You’ll manage a caseload of approximately 60–65 students, with assignments thoughtfully distributed by school and grade level. Immediate start is available for a dedicated professional ready to make an impact in the lives of students from kindergarten through high school.
Skills & Experience Sought:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in New Jersey (SLP-NJ)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience with K–12 student populations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work across multiple school settings
- Comfort managing a dynamic caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality speech and language therapy to students, adjusting techniques based on individual needs
- Evaluate and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and families
- Document progress, communicate with teachers and parents, and adapt interventions as needed
- Travel to each of the three school sites throughout the work week
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to ongoing student support
