You may choose one of the following shifts:Shift 1: Monday + Tuesday 6:00 pm - 2:30am; Friday - Sunday 6:00pm - 6:00am ESTShift 2: Wednesday + Thursday 6:00pm - 2:30am EST; Friday - Sunday 6:00am - 6:00pm ESTThe position is currently pending funding in the August / September 2026 timeframe.The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) is an organization of approximately 2,000 personnel of which 700 serve at HQ and the remaining staff serve at offices worldwide. NCIS is the DON component with primary responsibility for criminal investigation, law enforcement (LE), counter-terrorism (CT), counterintelligence (CI), and cyber matters.As a Systems Administrator, the work you'll do will be impactful to the mission of the IT Technology Development division within the NCIS ITD organization in Quantico, VA.Responsibilities include:Administer, manage, and maintain Windows servers 2016 and 2019Responsible for Windows Server patching in an operational environmentExperience with one or more of the following: Domain controllers, Active Directory, DNS servers, DHCP and Group Policy ObjectCreate, manage, and maintain accounts and groups in Active Directory, LDAPExperience with PowerShell scriptingMonitors system environments and resourcesAnalyze, troubleshoot, resolve, and documents problems with business applications and hardware on all enclavesExperience deploying DISA STIGs controls and system complianceOversees system recovery mechanismsExhibit the capability to resolve issues independentlyCoordinate, communicate, escalate required changes, and major issuesHelp diagnose and resolve computer-related problems as requested by employees and contractors, either in person or by using remote control softwareRespond to telephone calls and email requests for technical supportAccurately documents all work in ServiceNowRequirements:Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret clearanceRequired Experience: 5+ years of experience with systems administration.Well-rounded general computer system, network administration, and user support experience is necessaryExperience in mobile device management support and solutionsExperience with the NGEN IT infrastructure and enterprise class networksAbility to administer user accounts and device associations in Active DirectoryMust have prior experience with installation, operation, configuration, and maintenance of multiple types of business and end user-specific application software in a large government installationFamiliarity with a variety of technical support applications, concepts, practices, and proceduresRequired Certifications: Security+ CE, GSEC, SSCP or CCNA SecurityEducation: Bachelors Degree in IT, Computer Science or Technical discipline.Location: Onsite at Quantico, VAUS Citizenship requiredPreferred:Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)ATR is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) who will provide equal employment opportunity to employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, ethnicity, religion, color, sex, pregnancy, national origin, age, veteran status, ancestry, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, family structure, genetic information, or mental or physical disability.
