Business Development Lead

- Business Development Leadby | Jun 10, 2025**About FYRE Shield**FYRE Shield designs, installs, and maintains advanced wildfire suppression and monitoring systems for high-value homes and HOA communities. We combine proven hardware with predictive software to keep properties safe long before flames appear.**Role Summary** The Business Development Lead opens new markets and drives revenue growth. You will identify high-value prospects, build strong relationships with property owners, insurers, and HOAs, and guide each deal from first contact through signed contract. You will report to the COO and work closely with marketing, engineering, and field operations.**Key Responsibilities**• Map and prioritize target regions, focusing on fire-prone zones with high-value properties • Build and manage a pipeline of homeowners, HOA boards, and insurance partners • Qualify leads, run discovery calls, and deliver clear demos that highlight ROI and risk reduction • Craft proposals, negotiate terms, and close contracts that meet margin goals • Coordinate with the project management team to ensure smooth hand-offs after sale • Track metrics in the CRM and provide weekly forecasts to leadership • Represent FYRE Shield at trade shows, community meetings, and industry events Required Qualifications • 7+ years selling complex capital equipment, construction services, or fire-protection solutions • Proven record of meeting or beating annual sales targets above $5 million • Strong understanding of real estate, HOA decision cycles, and high-net-worth homeowners • Confident communicator able to present to board members, insurers, and regulators • Skilled in consultative sales, proposal writing, and contract negotiation • Comfortable with travel across the Western United States up to 50 percent**Preferred Extras**• Existing network in property insurance or luxury residential development • Experience launching products in a startup or high-growth environment • Familiarity with wildfire mitigation or irrigation systems**Success Metrics**• Quarterly bookings hit or exceed plan • Average sales cycle stays under 90 days • Net promoter score from clients above 9/10 • Forecast accuracy within ±10 percent**Compensation & Benefits**• Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission • Equity package tied to company milestones • Health, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) with company match • Travel stipend and home office allowance**Job Category:****Job Type:****Job Location:**
