Job Description Job Description Become a part of our organization's Division of Cardiology as a Heart Failure Cardiologist, joining the only comprehensive DNV-certified advanced heart failure program in the region. Program Overview: * Our program benefits from robust institutional and community backing, emphasizing a multidisciplinary approach. * Work closely with a dedicated team of advanced practice providers and specialists in cardiac electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac imaging, and cardiothoracic surgery. * Engage with a team that possesses extensive knowledge in cardiomyopathies, including hypertrophic and infiltrative disorders. * Deliver pre- and post-operative care for heart transplant and VAD patients, collaborating with regional academic cardiac surgical centers in the Northeast. * Contribute to a well-established and expanding program focused on delivering innovative, patient-centered care to those with heart failure. Qualifications: * MD/DO or equivalent degree with board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease. * Clinically focused with adequate research experience and teaching capabilities for an academic appointment. * Formal training in advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and heart transplantation, or equivalent clinical experience is preferred. * Leadership skills and attributes are highly regarded. * Excellent communication abilities, with a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to patient care. * A strong commitment to providing exceptional care to heart failure patients and advancing the field of cardiology. * Capability to teach, mentor, and work alongside medical students, residents, cardiology fellows, and other healthcare professionals. * Eligibility for academic appointment and medical licensure in New York State. We offer a competitive salary range with an incentive bonus potential of $350,000 to $400,000.
