Schedule: Full-time position with on-call requirements every 3rd or 4th weekend (Friday 5:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM). Schedule includes management of both routine and emergency interventional cases at a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Highlights:

• Work in a high-acuity Level 1 Trauma, Stroke, and Pulmonary Embolism facility with comprehensive vascular and neuro interventional services
• State-of-the-art department featuring 4 IR rooms equipped with Siemens single plane and biplane C-arms, plus 2 hybrid operating rooms
• Dual-tech model with one technologist scrubbing and one circulating per room for complex peripheral and neurovascular procedures
• Diverse case mix including angiograms, embolizations, thrombectomies, stent placements, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, and central line insertions
• Experience with advanced interventional technologies and equipment including PACS and Cerner charting system
• First-time travelers accepted with comprehensive orientation and support

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
• Proficiency in both peripheral vascular IR and neurovascular IR procedures (must be able to scrub both types of cases)
• Current ARRT (R) certification and BLS certification required
• Active Indiana license or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Expertise in angioplasty, stent placement, angiograms, nephrograms, drainages, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies
• Proficiency with Siemens C-arm equipment required; experience with GE Elite portable C-arm preferred
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Two supervisor references required
