Home Health Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide high-quality care to clients in the Troy, MI area. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and well-being in the comfort of their own homes. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a patient demeanor, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Monitor clients’ health by taking vital signs and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals. Provide companionship and support to improve clients’ emotional and social well-being. Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders as instructed. Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with the care team. Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times. Requirements Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a related care giving role plus. Current certification or training in home health care is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
