RN - Nursery PRN - T

Job Title

Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice through utilization of the Mother/Baby model.

Reports to: Director Women's Health

Minimum Education:

Associate's degree in Nursing or RN Diploma - Required

Bachelor's degree in Nursing - Preferred

Required Skills:

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Computer proficiency required.

Certifications:

BLS certification from approved American Heart Association training center required to be current upon hire.

NRP certification from approved American Heart Association training center required within 6 months of employment.

STABLE certification from approved American Heart Association training center required within 6 months of employment (eff 3.19)

Licenses: State of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensure - Required

Minimum Work Experience:

1 year experience in Nursery - Preferred
