Product Director – eCommerce SaaS Platform

Responsibilities

• Define Partnership strategy: develop and implement strategies to maximize partnership value and negotiate favorable commercial and business terms on new agreements and renewals.
• Own Partnership management: serve as the primary point of contact for existing partners, monitor performance and value enabled, foster strong relationships, and ensure mutual success.
• Work backwards from customer needs to define and develop outstanding product features that delight our customers.
• Drive Cross‑functional collaboration: partner closely with our internal teams, including other product teams, engineering, sales, marketing and legal, to align partnership activities with broader business objectives.
• Leadership & team development: build and lead a high‑performing team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
• Risk management and compliance: proactively identify and flag potential risks in strategic partnerships, client relationships and product development.
• Display your Adaptability: respond with agility to market changes and adjust strategies to maximize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of work experience in product development, account and partnership management, or business development in e‑commerce platforms or fulfillment/software/SaaS industry.
• Skills/Knowledge:
  • Experienced in driving successful products and exceptional outcomes for customers through effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Puts the customer at the center of every product development.
  • Thrives in solving complex problems and draws on creative solutions that deliver value to end users and generate demand in the market.
  • Proven track record in hiring, leading, and retaining high‑performing partner‑management teams; comfortable working with C‑level.
  • Extensive experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams, including account management, product management, program management, and business development.
  • Technical orientation and a keen understanding of SaaS and APIs.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong ownership mindset.

Compensation

The base range for this position is $200,000–$240,000 per year, with the actual pay dependent on your skills and experience as they relate to the job requirements.
