Merit Medical seeks an Operations Associate I for medical device assembly and production support at its Richmond, VA facility. The role involves assembling medical products, performing quality inspections, picking orders, and preparing shipments on a rotating day shift.

Responsibilities

• Assemble medical devices performing rotating tasks on production lines
• Perform in-process and visual inspection to verify product quality against specifications
• Pick, verify, and prepare customer orders for shipment with proper labeling
• Execute basic boxing and packaging procedures for finished products
• Identify and reject products that do not meet quality standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Ability to rotate through assembly line positions and meet line rate expectations
• Visual acuity and color perception to identify and distinguish medical products
• Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for assembly tasks
• Basic math knowledge and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Attention to detail and accuracy in quality inspection
• Dependable attendance and teamwork capability
