Employment Type: Contract (Approximately 3 months; extension possible)

Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm, with some flexibility to allow for a 7am or 8:30am start; 40 hours/week. OT not anticipated

Tekberry is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Technician to support our client, a world-class manufacturer of glass and optical products.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone with a technical background (AAS degree) or 1 3 years of manufacturing experience who wants to grow their career in process engineering and quality control. What You'll Do

• Monitor Production: Oversee specialized material-processing steps such as plating, etching, laminating, and polishing to ensure parts are treated correctly.

• Quality Testing: Conduct regular measurements and tests throughout the day. You'll be responsible for checking variables like temperature, density, pressure, and liquid thickness (viscosity) to keep the process in balance.

• Workflow Planning: Help organize the "order of operations." You will follow and refine procedures for cutting and shaping materials to ensure we are working efficiently and safely.

• Solve Problems: Identify routine production issues and implement basic solutions. For more complex challenges, you'll work closely with senior technicians and engineers to find a fix.

• Improve Efficiency: We value your input! You will be encouraged to recommend ways to make our workstations more comfortable and our processes more effective.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 0 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Education: An Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree is highly preferred, but not required if you have relevant experience.

• Technical Mindset: A basic understanding of manufacturing terminology and the ability to follow technical procedures accurately.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to use measurement tools and record data with precision.

• Professionalism: You can maintain a steady pace, meet deadlines, and handle sensitive company information with confidentiality.

• Team Player: You work well under supervision but are proactive about suggesting improvements.
