CT Tech - Inpatient CT Scan (Full-Time, Nights)

ENL CT ScanCompensation range: $50.50 - $68.18. Your rate of pay will be based on applicable experience.Shift: Nights, rotating weekend coverage also required. Shift length: 12-Hours. The CT Technologist can perform all general diagnostic radiographic exams and CT exams. Assumes responsibility for designated areas as assigned. The Technologist operates CT equipment, prepares and administers contrast media, performs Intravenous contrast injections, operates X-ray equipment, prepares patient's room, equipment, supplies, and medications. The CT Technologist is responsible for the quality control and enforcement of Enloe Medical Centers Core Values, ARRT Standards of Ethics, and the policies and procedures of the designated area. The CT Technologist supports and contributes to the service excellence mission of Enloe Medical Center and the Radiology Department.Education / Training / Experience:Desired:Two years experience in diagnostic x-rayOne year experience in CTLicenses / Certifications:Minimum:Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT) Approved CPR certificationARRT to be obtained within 6 months of hireFluoroscopy permit to be obtained within 6 months of hireDesired:Current Radiographic contrast media and venapuncture certificationCurrent license issued by ARRTRadiologic Technologist fluoroscopy permit issued by the State of CaliforniaAdvanced certification in CTSkills / Knowledge / Abilities:Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of human structure and function, cross sectional anatomy, patient care, positioning, and principles of radiographic exposure, quality assurance, radiation physics, radiation protection, radiobiology, and specialized techniques as required for a radiologic and CT technologist. Must be intelligent and self motivated. Excellent communication and critical thinking skills are required. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
