What You'll Need:

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program

AART Certification in Radiation Therapy

Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required

Minimum of 2 years recent experience in radiation therapy required by client. (Preferred: experience in cancer center or hospital outpatient radiation oncology)

Required AHA BLS certification

Experience operating linear accelerators and associated treatment planning verification workflows preferred

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital (Cancer Center / Radiation Oncology)
• Shift Name: Days
• Typical Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts (client schedule noted as 8:00 AM4:30 PM)
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facility locations within the system as needed
• Client requirement: Minimum 2 years of recent specialty experience
• Certifications required: AART Certification, AHA BLS

Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment.

Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment.

Verify treatment plans and dosage with the oncology team.

Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy.

Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records.
