Job Description
Conviso Inc is hiring Secret Cleared DevSecOps Engineer. This is a 100% Remote set-up position & comes with benefits, 401K & some accrued PTO.
\n \nRole: DevSecOps Engineer
\nActive Secret Clearance is needed
\nRemote Role
\n \nCertification : DoD 8570 IAT II (i.e. Security+)
\n \nResponsibilities:
\n- \n
- The management and execution of the ITSM queue supporting incidents, requests, and changes at a Tier 3 level with a 4-6 people operations team. Coordinate cross-functionally with teams including application teams, migration, observability, defense ops, and incident response. \n
- Build automated GitLab CI/CD pipelines to deploy and test new versions for a host of supported tools and application base images. \n
- Identify, scope, and implement infrastructure changes and automations though agile sprints that need to be made to increase platform stability. \n
- Identify gaps in operations documentation and work with engineers on the team to build useful guides. \n
- Implement new enhancements and automations to support best practice DevSecOps processes and cloud infrastructure. \n
Qualifications:
\n• A Security+ certification (can be taken while onboarding).
\n• Direct experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and pipeline automation
\n• An understanding of cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and DevSecOps principles for development communities.
\n• Familiarity with the ELK Stack or other comparable monitoring tools
\n \nPreferred Qualifications:
\n• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab / GitLab Runners, Nexus, Cloud managed services, AI dev assist capabilities, and Rancher/RKE2.
\n• Familiarity with ServiceNow and Jira.
\n• Familiarity with other tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, TestRail, ArgoCD, and Renovate.
\n• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
\n• Cloud certifications form AWS, Azure, or OCI
\n• Basic scripting and automation skills.
\n \nCompensation : $120,000 - $125,000/Year with Benefits
