Job Description

This is a fully onsite role based at our Global Central Laboratory in Highland Heights KY. We welcome applicants from all locations within the US. Please note that relocation assistance is not provided for this position and any relocation costs will be the responsibility of the candidate.

• 1st Shift: Tuesday-Saturday 8:00 AM-04:30 PM ET

What Youll Do:

Our Technical Leads coordinate major sample events directing sample management and laboratory staff in afunctional area. Deciphers complex protocols and ensures the validity of sample requests and adherenceto secure and robust sample handling processes in a dynamic environment. Supports risk assessmentand design of sample handling practices.

• Perform any or all Sample Coordinator functions including oversight and execution of a variety of complex standard and sample tasks (receipt accessioning routing storage aliquoting shipping discard destruction etc.) in support of the Sample Management department.

• Act as back-up in the absence of management and serve as a technical liaison for project-specific sample management procedures.

• Respond to environmental unit alarms and participate in on-call responsibilities.

• Perform work assignments accurately timely and safely.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

• Previous experience that provides the knowledge skills and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 6 years).

In some cases an equivalency consisting of a combination of appropriate education trainingand/or directly related experience will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet therequirements of the role.

Knowledge Skills Abilities:

• Possess basic understanding of GLP/GCP

• Familiar with Microsoft Office including Word Excel and Power Point

• Familiar with environmental monitoring systems

• Effective time management and project management skills

• Have good leadership abilities

• Detail-oriented mindset

• Problem solving/troubleshooting abilities

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Able to work in a collaborative team environment
